Kultrix ("we," "us," or "our") operates the website kultrix.com. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights regarding your data.

1. Information We Collect

Contact Form Data

When you submit a form on our website (such as the "Let's Talk" modal, Contact page, or Hire page), we collect:

  • First name and last name (optional)
  • Email address (required)
  • Project description or message (optional)
  • The page you submitted the form from
  • Attribution data: the website or source that referred you to us (e.g., Google, LinkedIn, ChatGPT), UTM campaign parameters from the URL (utm_source, utm_medium, utm_campaign, utm_content, utm_term), and the timestamp of your first and most recent visit
  • Google Analytics client identifier (used to correlate your form submission with your anonymous browsing session)

This data is stored in our content management system and used to respond to your inquiry and to understand which channels bring us the most relevant leads.

Analytics Data (Google Analytics)

We use Google Analytics (measurement ID: G-6EKW5XWGFS) to understand how visitors interact with our website. Google Analytics collects:

  • Pages visited and time spent on each page
  • Referring website or source
  • Browser type, device type, and screen resolution
  • Approximate geographic location (country/city level, derived from IP address)
  • IP address (anonymized by Google Analytics)

Google Analytics uses cookies to distinguish unique visitors. We do not enable Google Advertising features, remarketing, or demographic reporting in our Google Analytics property, although the consent defaults described in section 2 do grant the three advertising permissions outside the European Economic Area and the United Kingdom. Analytics data is used in aggregate to improve our website and is not linked to personally identifiable information.

When you submit a contact form, we send a server-side event to Google Analytics via the Measurement Protocol to record the conversion. This event contains your anonymous Google Analytics client ID, the channel that brought you to our site, and the email domain (e.g., "gmail.com") - but not your full email address or name.

Consent Mode and the default before you answer the banner

The Google tag is requested on every page of kultrix.com. What the tag is allowed to do is decided by Google Consent Mode v2: before the tag loads, our code sets four permissions - analytics_storage, which covers measurement cookies, and three advertising ones (ad_storage, ad_user_data, ad_personalization). Until you press a button on the banner, the default depends on where you are:

  • European Economic Area and the United Kingdom. All four permissions default to denied and no analytics cookie is written. This branch covers the 30 countries of the European Economic Area - Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Croatia, Cyprus, Czechia, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Iceland, Ireland, Italy, Latvia, Liechtenstein, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, the Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain and Sweden - and the United Kingdom.
  • The rest of the world. All four permissions default to granted. Stated plainly: if you are outside the European Economic Area and the United Kingdom and you have not answered the banner, analytics is already running on your visit and the advertising permissions are already granted. We do not buy advertising and we do not build advertising audiences, but our code does grant those permissions, so we write down what the code does rather than what we intend.

Accept sets all four permissions to granted at once, without reloading the page. Decline sets all four to denied at once and in every country, including the rest of the world where the default was granted. Your answer is kept in the cookie_consent cookie and applied again on your next visit before the Google tag loads, so a declined browser stays declined. You can withdraw your consent at any time by clearing your browser cookies.

Local Storage

In addition to cookies, we use your browser's local storage to remember how you first discovered our website (first-touch attribution) and your most recent visit source (last-touch attribution). This data includes the referring URL, UTM parameters, and a timestamp. It does not contain any personally identifiable information. You can clear this data at any time by clearing the ktx_first_touch and ktx_last_touch entries in your browser's local storage for kultrix.com.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

  • Respond to your inquiries and project requests
  • Send you a confirmation email when you submit a contact form
  • Understand how visitors use our website (via Google Analytics)
  • Improve our website content and user experience
