We start by defining the user behaviour change that constitutes success — not just the output metric (feature shipped) but the outcome metric (retention improved, task completion rate increased). We then instrument features correctly in Amplitude or Mixpanel, set baseline measurements before launch, and review post-launch data within two weeks of release to assess whether the feature achieved its goal.

Yes. Product discovery — identifying what to build and why before committing to delivery — is one of the highest-value PM activities. We run continuous discovery programmes: weekly user interviews, assumption mapping, prototype validation, and opportunity scoring. This dramatically reduces the risk of shipping features users do not want.

Our PMs are technically literate rather than technically trained.
